Comedian Marty Simpson Performs Segment of 'Clean If It Kills Me' Live on BC News [VIDEO]
Nationally-acclaimed comedian Marty Simpson's 'Clean If It Kills Me' (July 8) features more than an hour of fan favorites from his popular stand-up show. Tales from his days coaching high school football; infamous antics of his children; a healthy dose of Marty's goldendoodles, Gus and Luke; and a few unexpected bats thrown in for good measure prove Marty's real life really is funnier than fiction.
'Clean If It Kills Me' also offers bonus footage, including an award-winning original short film and memorable moments from Marty's years as an All-American football standout.

Winner of the "2012 Clean Comedy Challenge," Marty Simpson's unique brand of stand-up is solidifying his reputation as one of America's leading family-friendly comics. He has opened for such renowned humorists as Dennis Miller, Tim Hawkins, Pauly Shore and "Last Comic Standing" winners Jon Reep and John Heffron, and he performs at top comedy venues including Flappers in Los Angeles, Atlanta's Punchline, and various Comedy Zone clubs around the country. A former high school All-American who went on to play for the South Carolina Gamecocks, Marty Simpson spent nine years as a teacher and varsity football coach, leading a team to South Carolina's state championship. Now a full-time stand-up comedian, he has been a sports radio talk show host and is a respected football analyst and a featured columnist for the Rivals.com network. Marty and his wife Ashley have two children, Savannah and Walt, and reside in Columbia, South Carolina.
