Famous pro-surfer Bethany Hamilton and husband Adam Dirks have announced that they are expecting! The married couple happily announced in a recent video that they will be adding a member to their family. The two definitely looked fresh and ready for another stage in their lives.

Hamilton, known to be a professional surfer and even more when in 2003, lost her arm from a shark attack, is 22 weeks long. "So we have a little surprise for you...baby on board!" the pregnant athlete announced on video online. "She's pregnant!" Dirks added.

The married couple also shared their excitement in waiting to see their new baby. "In baby terms I'm about 22 weeks, which is about halfway there," Hamilton explained, "It's been a pretty crazy last four months finding out that we're gonna be parents. Life's kinda gonna be changing and kinda just starting to prep for bringing a new little being into the world. It's all really exciting," she added.

More exciting news, the couple also announced that they will be having a boy! Since they are already halfway through, apparently, Hamilton and Dirks already know the gender of their baby. "We found out it's a boy so we're looking for boy names. We've got a few in mind," Dirks shared. Although he didn't mention their name choices.

Meanwhile, it is also quite noticeable that Hamilton, who is 4 months long, is looking fit. Apparently, the pro-surfer has still been surfing despite the growing baby bump. "I've been surfing throughout my whole pregnancy," she shared.

The famous pro-surfer however announces to take it down a notch as she her baby gets bigger. "I plan to surf as long as I can. Once the belly's pretty big maybe just like mellow it out and spend more time swimming and just enjoying the ocean and doing other activities," Hamilton said.

The two had been married since August 2013 in Hawaii and also previously competed on the 25^th season of the Amazing Race.
