'American Horror Story’ Season 5 News: FX Network to Reveal Spoilers in July

While still several months remain before the premiere of the 'American Horror Story,' the popular horror television series on FX, the network is likely to reveal some spoilers of the upcoming season in July with a view to whet the appetite of the fans to know more about what the show has in store for them.

Latin Post reports that the network is expected to reveal some details regarding the plot and characters of 'American Horror Story' Season 5 next month. According to the website, the spoilers are expected to come prior to the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con, which will be attended by the cast and crew of the show.

While the series producer Ryan Murphy has been maintaining a silence about the upcoming season, 'American Horror Story' fans can expect more original plot lines and stories in Season 5.

As of now, it is confirmed that 'American Horror Story' Season 5 will be filmed in California, as the show is among the 11 projects that have been selected to receive tax credits as per the first allocation of the new tax credit program of the state, which is includes program funding ranging from $100 million to $330 million annually.

While the 'American Horror Story' Season 1 and 2 were originally shot in California, Season 3 and 4 moved to New Orleans taking advantage the tax credits in that state.

It is expected that fans will see the return of cast members Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters in 'American Horror Story: Hotel.' In addition, the new season of the show will also feature newcomers Matt Bomer and Lady Gaga.

'American Horror Story: Hotel' will continue the anthology format that focuses on different characters and locations in each episode. As of now, there is no information about the specifics on what individual actors will play.

Aired for the first time in 2011, 'American Horror Story' went on to be one of the most popular shows on American television. It won several awards including a Golden Globe for Jessica Lange and five Emmy awards in 2014. In addition, the show earned two Critics' Choice awards for Paulson and for Zachary Quinto for the season titled 'Asylum.'

'American Horror Story: Hotel' will premiere on FX in October.
