The 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards aired last night and was hosted by hip hop mogul Snoop Dogg.

Everyone knows the most important portion of the Hip Hop awards is not only the live performances, but also the notorious cyphers.

The West Coast led the series of cyphers with rappers Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock and Isaiah Rashad. of course, the "Black Hippy", Kendrick Lamar was the cypher's headline since it was rumored that he would be taking shots at "Nothing Was The Same" rapper Drake.

Kendrick did however make it clear that "ain't nothing been the same since they dropped 'Control.'" Kendrick didn't aim certain lines such as "I got my thumb on Hip Hop and my foot in the back of yo a*s/Aftermath get the last laugh" at anyone, but he did make it clear how he feels about emcees who have responded to his "Control" verse, "You either corny or an opportunist."

Kendrick wins again!
