After the success of recent blockbuster "Son of God" producer Mark Burnett made a statement to Newsmax that "there's a lot of Christians who love Jesus, who love God, in Hollywood." Turns out the successful producer if right. Below is a list of 10 celebrities in Hollywood that have fallen under the radar when it comes to their faith.
Chris Tucker
Actor Chris Tucker is very well-known for his role in "Rush Hour," Tucker has said that he became a born-again Christian after filming "Money Talks" in 1997. Eight years later, the comedic actor was arrested for speeding on a Sunday in Georgia, allegedly approaching 120 mph. He was soon released and apologized, saying he was running late to church.
Denzel Washington
Actor Denzel Washington may be more known for his gangster roles in films like "American Gangster," but he is also a devoted Christian. He told GQ magazine in 2012 that he "reads the Bible every day."
Mariah Carey & Nick Canon
Power couple Mariah Carey & Nick Canon accredit their Christian beliefs to the leading factor as to why they are together. "It was early on when I found out how spiritual she was," Cannon told Ebony magazine, "and we had conversations about kids and how to live life. For her to share her values, it instantly let me know this is the person I've always wanted." During a phone interview with Barbara Walters Carey said that they instantly knew they would be together because the singer carried "an electronic Bible" around in her purse.
Mickey Rooney
During a 2007 interview, Mickey Rooney said that he turned to Jesus in order to get him through tough times. After struggling with a drug and gambling addiction, Mickey became a Christian. Though he was dealing with addictions and a bankruptcy, Mickey said he found happiness in God.
Martin Sheen
Actor Martin Sheen also known for his liberal political beliefs is a dedicated believer as well. He was raised as a Roman Catholic, and although he did stray from the church, he returned after battling an illness. During an interview Sheen is quoted saying, "It doesn't really matter how much of the rules or the dogma we accepted and lived by if we're not really living by the fundamental creed of the Catholic Church. That is service to others and finding God in ourselves and then seeing God in everyone-including our enemies."
Jane Fonda
Actress Jane Fonda grew up without religion. She was an atheist and had no experience or exposure with the church world, let alone in religion itself. Nevertheless, after moving to Georgia, her friends there taught her about Jesus. Jane said once learning; she became a born-again Christian in 2001.

Shock rock Singer Alice Cooper has been around for decades. Although one could never tell by his gothic fashion he reportedly has always believed in Christ, but would not have considered himself a Christian until he gave up his rock-star lifestyle, he said in an interview with the Huffington Post.
