'WWE 2K17' News: Roster Set For October 2016 Release Date

New details on the roster of 2K's "WWE 2K17" have been revealed.

2K tapped Rob Schamberger to paint a massive mural at the game developers booth at the E3 2016 and three members of the "WWE 2K17" roster have been unveiled, Tech Times has learned. As per the publication, gamers are to see Sasha Banks, John Cena, and the Ultimate Warrior in the forthcoming game title.

It is further revealed that Banks stands as one of NXT's Four Horsewomen in "WWE 2K17" and rumors say that she will reportedly be joined by Bayley, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte. At the moment, they have not been confirmed as official Horsewomen; while it can be recalled that "WWE 2K16" showcased the grandest roster for the title to date.

The inclusion of Banks, Cena, and the Ultimate Warrior boosts the roster count to four, since players who will preorder the title as set to get Goldberg as a bonus character. It is further revealed that players are set to get Goldberg's black trunks version in the WCW and his black-and-white version in the WWE, just like what 2K sports did with Sting for "WWE 2K15."

Schamberger usually partipcipates in prime WWE events to meet fans and sell his work. Nonetheless, his art can be pruchased through the WWE auction and the WWE shop. At the moment, the artist has unveiled in his canvass three of the first 11 superstars that are set to appear in 2K's "WWE 2K17," as per Forbes. Schamberger is assumed to paint all from June 14 to 16.

2K's "WWE 2K17" is set to be released in Oct. 2016.
