In line with St. Patrick's Day, Word Records' recording artist We Are Messengers has shared frontman Darren Mulligan's personal story in a video.

In the said clip, Mulligan said that he and his group were back in Ireland for a couple of weeks. He also mentioned that he had grown up in Monaghan, in the Northern part of the country, and he described it as a "beautiful place."

Mulligan said that he had become sad in his teenage years, revealing that he had not known the exact reason. He also said that he studied philosophy and geography when he had gone to college, hoping to answer some of his questions in life; however, he had not found answers, instead, he had found more questions

When he was 19, Mulligan had gone to the western region of Ireland, in a city called Galway. He met a friend named Heidi and fell in love with her. However, in 2000, he left Heidi, as he pursued what he had wanted to pursue and went to America for a rock star lifestyle.

Mulligan also talked about the church where Heidi took him before. In that place, he got to know more about Jesus and God, in addition to his and Heidi's differences. In his mind, Mulligan felt ashamed, sinful, dirty, and hopeless, and he believed that he could be different.

The artist decided to give his life to Jesus and change his life. With Heidi, who became his wife, Mulligan said that life had been incredible, as he had every single thing he had got.

Mulligan added that with God, he did not feel feel like a sinner who has been lost, but a sinner who had been found and had been forgiven. The artist also said that he still had trials and struggles, but he trusted God in everything.

For Mulligan, he had to move on and go on, despite of such challenges in life.

Based from Ireland and the United States, We Are Messengers stands as a band, ministry, and family, with a sole vision and desire to serve God and witness His unique love touch and transform lives of individuals, families, and communities, as per The Christian Beat.

Meanwhile, We Are Messengers' self-titled debut is set to be released on Apr. 22.
