'Titanfall 2' Release Date, News: Game To Reveal Return Of An Iconic Weapon

Respawn Entertainment is set to come with a new face with the return of its iconic weapon and its resolution to the team-based multiplayer mode.

"Titanfall 2" is set to see the return of one of its controversial weapons, the Smart Pistol, according to its game director Steve Fukuda. In his interview with Shack News at the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016, Fukuda shared his thoughts on the changes he title is set to undergo when it comes to the multiplayer game modes.

Fukuda said that they were going to be bringing back the Smart Pistol, but different. He added that they knew that was what had received a lot of negative feedback and they had been working on that to make sure that it was a more balanced experience for all players.

The game director also revealed that his team was taking into consideration the players' feedback; however, the said weapon's appearance has a high probability in the upcoming game. It is also assumed that the power of the Smart Pistol would be reduced in its return, among other weapons.

In other news, "Titanfall 2" is set to feature an answer to the issues of its multiplayer game feature and they call it "Networks." According to the developers, as cited by CNET, Networks allows players to create a huge group of players, which can be their own guild or clan, and invite them to a shared room.

As per the developers, Networks can resolve the multiplayer game mode problem by matching players up with their friends and teammates from that specific room, despite of having over five or eight players per team that suit into the title's game modes.

Respawn Entertainment's "Titanfall 2" is set to be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows on Oct. 28. Watch the trailer here.
