Rumor has it that Taylor Swift is seriously crushing on her 'The Giver' co-star, Brenton Thwaites.

Taylor Swift was seen flirting with 'Oculus' star Brenton Thwaites during the Toronto Film Festival last year. She was there to watch the special screening of 'One Chance' while the Aussie actor was there promoting his aforementioned new movie.

Thwaites was supposed to promote his film, but instead spent an hour in a booth with Swift, US Weekly reported. A source told the site that the two chatted for over an hour and made each other laugh.

The eyewitness added that the Thwaites had his arm around Swift's back and in turn Swift touched his leg a few times. It seemed to the insider that the two were really into each other.

Following the incident, people assumed that the 24-year-old actor would be the country singer's next boyfriend.

However, work got in the way for both of them. They never really got the chance to further their acquaintance, but as fate would have it, they crossed paths again in the casting for 'The Giver'.

When fans caught wind of this, they began to hope that the pair would soon be officially dating, but Thwaites shot down the rumors almost immediately, "She's pretty funny, but an Aussie's sense of humor is a whole new kettle of flies," Thwaites said, "A couple of jokes on my behalf went AWOL."

Just last month, Taylor Swift was rumored to be dating singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, to which Sheeran also denied.

Sheeran argued that he is currently in a relationship with a chef. He said it made him feel like a stud when his friends asked him if the rumors about Swift were true.

On a side note, one of Swift's exes, John Mayer is keeping track of his past relationships by keeping "souvenirs" reportedly including lingerie and intimate videos most likely of Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift, an anonymous source told Classicalite.

'The Giver' is set to be released on August 15.
