'Star Wars: Battlefront' DLC Release Date, News Update: Ultimate Edition Package And ‘Rogue One’ VR Mission

New details on Electronic Arts' "Star Wars Battlefront" DLC release date have surfaced and as per reports, these include the Ultimate Edition package and "Rogue One" VR mission.

"Star Wars Battlefront" Ultimate Edition is bound to come out in November, Game Spot has learned. As per the publication, the said game is set to be available for $40 and it will be accessible for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game will also cover all the free DLC installments, along with four expansion packs and Season Pass for future expansions.

According to VG247, the "Star Wars" DLC package will also include top game installments - "Death Star," "Outer Rim," "Bespin," and "Rogue One Scarif," which is much anticipated for the time being. As per the report, the expansions are set to feature more than 30 maps, 14 extra game modes, and 14 heroes, which is seen as the studio's bonus to the players.

In this regard, Electronic Arts also confirmed that PlayStation 4 players who bought "Star Wars Battlefront" are also set to have the chance to play "Star Wars: Rogue One's" virtual reality mission, the "X-Wing," for free.

According to University Herald, the "Rogue One"-themed game is set to come out in the upcoming holiday season. Along with this are new in-game events, "Star Wars" items, and a full 4X musical score. As per the publication, the "Rogue One" mission is set to be couple with a free trial event, which is slated on Nov. 18 to Nov. 20.

Developed by Electronic Arts, "Star Wars Battlefront" was initially released for Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, and PlayStation 4 in 2015. "Star Wars Battlefront" Ultimate Edition is set to arrive in November.
