‘Spider Man’ Reboot Cast News: 'K.C. Undercover' Zendaya Will Play ‘Michelle’ In Film Reboot

While the Spider Man reboot project has still yet to be titled, reports about its cast continue to make the rounds on social media.

Earlier this month, talks about "K.C. Undercover" star Zendaya joining the next installation of the Marvel Film began to circulate online. The news was confirmed by Zendaya herself, who guested in "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" recently.

In her interview, the 19-year-old singer-actress confirmed that she will appear in the Spider Man reboot and shared her excitement for the upcoming film.

Zendaya said that what excites her so much about the project is the fact that when it comes to the acting space, she's basically unknown. She believes that the film will be a good venue for her to showcase her flair for acting.

"I've never been in a real movie before or anything like that, so I had to start from the bottom like anyone else. I auditioned and auditioned and auditioned and broke down those walls, because a lot of people do have that pre-conceived notion of who I am based on previous things I've done, so you got to really break that down and go hard, put in the work, take all the meetings, take all the auditions," she said.

The actress did not give any further detail on her role in the film, except that she will play the role of a woman named "Michelle." Some fans believe that this character could be the criminal defense lawyer that Spider Man will share a flat with in the movie.

Zendaya first became known in the Disney Channel series "Shake it Up."
