'Spider-Man' News: Marvel CCO Says New Costume Will 'Blow People Away' [VIDEO]

With the introduction of a new Spider-Man in the MCU, fans must now question what costume does the studio plan on giving the character?

Nothing says reboot like a new costume and actor, and while there hasn't been any vast differentiations in the original Spider-Man costume, Marvel CCO Joe Quesada seems to be very confident that their new design will blow us away.

He tells IGN:

"It's awesome, I've seen a lot of design work that's been done on the costume. I think there are elements of it that are really going to blow people away where they are going to go 'Ah, that's Marvel doing Spider-Man."

It sounds as if the studio has some fairly big changes they plan to make. Quesada is very light on the details when he's asked if this costume will have the classic web-shooters:

"Things will be revealed as they are meant to be revealed. It's Spider-Man, what's not exciting about that? I can't imagine there's a person on the planet Earth that can't relate to some aspect of Spider-Man or Peter Parker, and he is for all intents and purposes, he is Marvel's Mickey Mouse. He is the icon of so much of what we have was built upon, so to create that movie along with our Sony partners it's phenomenally exciting. I know Kevin Feige and his team have some great ideas. Some wonderful theories that we have all chimed in on."

Fans will get their first look at actor Tom Holland in his iconic Spider-Suit in next years 'Captain America: Civil War,' before appearing in his own solo film.
