Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Release Date, Specs & Rumors: When Is it Arriving After No Reveal At IFA 2016?

All the rumors about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 being launched at the IFA 2016 in Berlin proved to be d dud. Unfortunately, there's no news from the South Korean company about the release date for the third-generation tablet.

There were persistent talks about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 to be launched in the event, but the IFA 2016 went by without any hint as to the release date. Instead, there were some other products like TVs, appliances, new audio and the Gear S3, the report said.

But there are rumors that the tech company might be launching the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 in mid-2017 based on the fact that the S2 was introduced in July 2015 and the original flagship had a release date of June 12, 2014. It didn't happen in the middle of this year, nor the IFA 2016.

Nevertheless, Trusted Reviews said that the Galaxy Tab S3 is happening if only for the fact that Samsung applied before the FCC for certification. What that means is that the company is close to launching the device because the agency doesn't accept filings without a workable prototype.

More rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 alleged that it's going to feature an AMOLED display screen with 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution, just like the second generation device. It's not clear if there's also going to be two versions: the eight-inch one and the 9.7-inch model.

For now, however, all those rumors will remain to be so unless there's official news coming from Samsung regarding the Galaxy Tab S3.
