'Persona 5' Release Date, News Rumors: Game’s Launch Delayed To 2017; New Game Modes Unveiled

After recent talks that "Persona 5" is set to be released this summer, new reports revealed that the upcoming game title is set to to be moved next year. Also, the game is set to add new features, such as modes.

According to Crossmap, rumors suggest that "Persona 5" may be moved until 2017. As per the publication, it is due to "Final Fantasy XV," which is set to be released this September.

Previously, "Persona 5's" release date was revealed to be in the summer of this year, due to development issues, Ecumenical News has learned. As per the publication, summer in Japan starts in the middle of July to latter August; however, there is currently no update with regard the release date of the game. Thus, rumors suggest that "Persona 5" is set to be postponed again.

"Persona 5" has also added new modes to its gameplay - Cooperation and Sneak. The former allows the players to network socially and connect to non-playable characters, which give them the chance to gain advantage for their characters. On the other hand, the latter lets players to dodge elements inside the dungeons.

The game is also set to bring back "All-Out-Attack," which lets players to create attack combos whenever an enemy had been taken down. This feature was introduced in "Persona 3" and is set to come back in "Persona 5."

Since "Persona 5" has been delayed next year, fans and gamers can still play other games while waiting for its official release. According to Neurogadget, these games include the games predecessors "Persona 3," "Persona 4," "Persona 2: Innocent Sin," "Persona 2: Eternal Punishment," "Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth," "Shin Megami Tensei IV," and "Tokyo Mirage Sessions."

"Persona 5" is set to be released in 2017.
