The next season of "Orange is the New Black' is all set to premiere on June 12, with new actors in the cast and some exciting twists to the plot.

After the cliffhanger that the last season left the audience with, Season 3 is awaited with bated breath. During the last season, we saw that Vee is dead and Rosa finally manages to escape the prison. Another shocker that Season 2 gave, was the drug dealing that Nicki does along with Boo to sneak in heroin into the prison.

Season 3 will have the answers for all the developments left in suspense from the previous season; be it Piper's hopelessness with her relationships, be it Daya's pregnancy, or even if Caputo makes the Warden.

In other news, new actors will be joining the cast for the upcoming season. Actress Mary Steenburgen will be joining the cast, playing Pornstache's mother. The recurring actors will be seen too, in their usual roles.

Daya, whose character is played by Dascha Polanco, is expected to play a bigger role in the next season, especially with her pregnancy and her rape scene with Pornstache. However, her role may not go on for too long, given Polanco's movie offers. Polanco was cast in the movie "Joy' as a supporting character. She is also in an Adam Sandler film "The Cobbler,' which comes out this month on March 13, according to Deadline.

The series' spotlight Alex Vause will be seen more in the upcoming season. Laura Prepon, who plays the character of Alex, said, "The thing that's so interesting about Alex and Piper is that they totally love each other, but they also look out for themselves. It's this constant power struggle between the two of them. And then at the end of Season Two, Piper does a major power play. And you wonder, is it because she totally loves this girl, or is it because she's just getting her back?" according to The Daily Mail.

However, the character of Piper's husband, Larry won't be seen in Season 3. Jason Biggs, who plays the part said, "They're not focusing on Larry at the moment. Larry will not be in Season 3. But there's always a possibility he can come back," writes the New York Daily News.
