OnePlus 3 Release Date, Specs Rumors, News: New Device To Come Out The End Of April Or End Of Q2 2016

In line with the upcoming OnePlus 3 handset, it is revealed that its arrival is set to be within the second quarter of the year.

According to Ecumenical News, OnePlus 3 is set to be launched by the end of April. However, the publication emphasized that the detail on the release date is not yet official; thus, fans may stick to a more official detail that the device is set for a release at the end of the year's second quarter.

In his interview with CNET in February, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei revealed that the device was expected to launch at the end of the second quarter of the year. Pei refused to divulge additional details on the forthcoming device, which stands as the ne flagship device and fourth smartphone model of the China-based company.

According to Pei, OnePlus 3 was set to captivate users as much as its first smartdevice, adding that the phone would feature a new design, which suggests a transition from the unique design of its predecessor.

With regard its specifications, OnePlus 3 is set to have dual Nano-SIM compartment, along with its LTPS IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen of 16M colors, 5.5-inch display, 1080 by 1920 pixel resolution, multitouch capabilities, and Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is set to utilize the Android OS version 6.0 (Marshmallow), Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820, Dual-Core 2.155 GHz Kryo and Dual-Core 1.6 GHz Kryo, and Adreno 530.

According to GSM Arena, OnePlus 3 has no card slot, but buyers can choose between 32GB 4GB RAM variant and 64GB 6GB RAM variant. Its camera has 16MP, autofocus, and dual-LED flash, in addition to a non-removable battery.
