New Album By Tenth Avenue North, 'Followers,' To Drop In October
The fifth studio album by Tenth Avenue North, titled "Followers," will launch on Oct. 14 as announced by the band on social media.
In fact, fans can already pre-order the album and get instant downloads of the songs "Afraid" and "What you Want."
Frontman Mike Doheney explained in a press release that "Followers" is about following Jesus Christ when people receive their calling. He said there's a difference between following God in whatever people do, and recognizing the reason why they do something.
He also explained that they only realized that they have come full circle to their debut album from eight years ago while working on their new album.
"We have settled into that maybe God isn't as interested in the success of our career as He is about the posture of our hearts and what would it look like if we lived every day of our lives the way God commanded," he said.
"One of the most repeated commands in the Bible is 'Do not be afraid,' and the one thing we know is that God does not want us to follow Him in fear," the frontman added.
Indeed, prior to "Followers," Tenth Avenue North has established itself as one of Christian music's more successful bands with multiple Dove Awards and top radio singles under its belt.
