Kirk Cameron Compares a 'Pagan Based' Christmas to 'Evil' Chinese Food [WATCH HERE]
Kirk Cameron tells thousands at Liberty University that not celebrating Christmas because it has pagan attachments is just as silly as calling Chinese food evil.
Cameron is gearing up to release his new film 'Saving Christmas' on November 14 and the actor visited Liberty University to share his thoughts on the holiday. Cameron starts off his case in a monolog about the origins of Chinese food. Cameron explains that Chinese food is made with the intention to push Chinese belief in a monotheistic mysticism. Cameron taught what he believed to the 10,000 students at Liberty University, in hopes to do away with the confusion that some have as to he traditions of Christmas.
"Sweet and sour pork. Chicken chow mein. Egg drop soup. If you think Christmas is "pagan," wait till you learn about the evils of... Chinese food!!" Cameron wrote along with the video post on his Facebook page, "This funny video is my answer to all the overly conscientious "faithful" who think Christmas is bad."
Cameron's insights are from James B. Jordan, and he is very convinced that his argument can sway any one with doubts about practicing the traditions of Christmas.
In a recent interview with BREATHEcast Cameron likewise shared his thoughts about Chinese food and Christmas.
Although Cameron was very adamant in his view on his Facebook page, people are still divided on the issue.

- "CHRISTMAS of course is NOT evil...what is evil is the pagan rituals incorporated into Christmas. It's not about Jesus anymore...it's about santa and presents...."
- "Thank you Kirk I see this all the time and am even attacked for it myself. Christmas, Halloween, Easter can all be used for evil. Just like tv, radio, our homes can. But, it's what we do with it that makes the difference..."
- "I actually think the "Chinese food argument" was not only silly, but a poor comparison to the real issue. I love and respect you as a brother in Christ, Kirk Cameron, but no one (as far as I've ever heard) has ever tried mixing the worship of Jesus Christ with anything having to do with Chinese food..."
