Fans of CBS hit sitcom "How I Met Your Mother" are anxiously awaiting the series finale, as well as the last few epsiodes of the series.

An all new episode airs tonight on CBS. For spoilers about tonight's episode as well as the series finale from the cast and creators of the show, read on.

Series creator Criag Thomas recently spoke with TV Guide about the last few episodes and it seems there are a few surprises left.

"It's curve balls and really strange for a sitcom on Monday nights on TV. Stay tuned for two weeks and we'll see what happens," Thomas said.

"How I Met Your Mother" star Josh Radnor spoke about shooting the series finale. He believes fans will be satisfied.

"It was everything you love about 'How I Met Your Mother.' It was hilarious and sad and sweet and truthful. The last day with Jason, the five of us had a scene. They made special Kleenex for us that said, 'Let it all out, no questions asked,'" the actor said.

"How I Met Your Mother" airs tonight on CBS at 8/7c. The series finale will air Monday, March 31 on CBS. The finale will be a special one hour long episode.
