‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 Spoilers: Varamyr, Imogen Joining; Plot Focus on Wildings

The Game of Thrones' Season 4 finale is soon to wrap up, and speculation is rising that Theon Greyjoy's uncles will not be appearing in Season 5. 

Fashion & Style sources have confirmed that Season 5 will focus on Wildings and politics at King's Landings.  Varamyr Sixskins and Imogen are also rumored to appear on GoT Season 5, which is set to premiere in the Fall.

According to WinterIsComing.net, Varamyr is most likely to appear in Season 5 based on spoilers from A Song of Ice and Fire

The wildling warg is said to have control of three wolves, a snowbear, and a shadowcat, according to The Hollywood Life. 

Varamyr first appeared in A Storm of Swords and was supposed to be cast in the latter part of Season 4.

Imogen is a totally new character, but according to WinterIsComing.net, the 12-year-old blonde girl is actually a red herring cast together with young Cersei.  Julian Glover, who plays the role of Grand Maester Pycelle will also join GoT Season 5, Wetpaint has reported.

In other news, HBO has renewed Game of Thrones not only for a Season 5 but also for a 2016 season.  Based on TV Guide statistics, GoT is one of the most watched series today with an average audience share of 52 percent.  It performs among the top TV series of recent years, alongside The Walking Dead and The Sopranos.

HBO president Michael Lombardo gave praise to the team behind the show that garnered 6.6 million viewers on the most recent episode in Season 4. 

"Game of Thrones is a phenomenon like no other.  David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, along with their talented collaborators, continue to surpass themselves, and we look forward to more of their dazzling storytelling," Lombardo said.
