Fifty Shades Of Grey Movie Premiere Date, New Photo: Dakota Johnson Forbids Mom Melanie Griffith From Seeing Film

'Fifty Shades of Grey' released new teaser photo in honor of Anastasia Steele's birthday. The highly anticipated movie's Twitter account released a photo captioned "Happy Birthday, Anastasia. #FiftyShades" on September 10.

The photo shows Dakota Johnson, the actress who portrays Anastasia Steele, looking like she is absorbed in her thoughts while holding a Grey Enterprises-labeled pencil to her lips.

The photo followed the release of the long-awaited trailer for the racy film last July. The short preview shows several scenes like Christian Grey, portrayed by Jamie Dornan, seducing Anastasia Steele, and introducing her to his "Red Room of Pain." The trailer also features an exclusive version of Beyonce's "Crazy in Love."

Due to the nature of the movie, Johnson is reportedly forbidding her mother, Melanie Griffith, from seeing the film.

"I have not seen Fifty Shades of Grey. I don't think I'm going to see it...[Dakota] was like, 'You guys cannot come. There's no way.' So we're not going. I did go visit for a couple of days when they were shooting just normal stuff. I did see the Room of Pain-I did go in there and check it out," Griffith told Indiewire.

Meanwhile, Johnson's 'Fifty Shades of Grey' co-star Dornan stated that the film based on the novel trilogy by E.L. James will not be too adult for the audience to watch.

The 32-year-old actor said that although the movie may break certain boundaries, the audience will be able to enjoy it.

"You've got to make something that a large amount of people can go and see. It's not going to be grotesque. I mean, in some ways, it'll break a few boundaries," says Dornan.

The actor also stated that he would not have taken the role if he thought the movie was going to be over the top risqué.

"But at the same time, they want to put bums on seats. They can't alienate an audience. You know it has to be watchable. It can't be hardcore. I wouldn't have signed up for it if it was," Dornan added.

'Fifty Shades of Grey' hits theaters on February 13, 2015.
