'Fallout 4' DLC Rumors: New Weapon Hints An Aquatic Expansion, Bethesda's Season Pass Release?
Following the revelation of its new weapons "Fallout 4" is set to expand an aquatic environment, according to speculations.
After its release in November, "Fallout 4" unveiled one of its hidden weapons, the harpoon gun. According to Polygon, the harpoon gun may hint an underwater expansion, since the weapon releases water bubbles when it is utilized as part of its weapon animation. This also indicates that gamers could see it as a tool that can be used underwater.
"Fallout: New Vegas" was the last time the game developers featured an underwater mission, which was limited to the exploration per se. The concept of an underwater expansion for the "Fallout" franchise could be Bethesda's approach in offering new content to "Fallout" fans.
With underwater locations as potential area for "Fallout 4" expansion, it is speculated that clues that hint at the said gameplay expansion are yet to be seen in Boston Wastelands, according to What Culture. Bethesda also reportedly designed underwater maps for the game, in addition to former explorations indicating a locked entrance with writings on it.
Some reports say that the said expansion will be alongside Bethesda's Season Pass release while other reports reveal that a Vault located underwater may contain hints about some underwater exploration.
In other news, gamers are set to enjoy the Power Armor repair feature in "Fallout 4." Players' characters could go to a Power Armor Station when the characters' Power Armor gets damaged by attacks from opponents or the surroundings.
In the Power Armor Station, players can exit their armor, with the main menu communicating with the crafting menu. The player has the chance to view in the menu the armor itself and check which pieces need repair.
Released on Nov. 10, "Fallout 4" is developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game can be run in PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
