“Criminal Minds” Season 10 Spoilers: “A Thousand Minds” Recap; “The Itch” Deals With Unsub With Murderous Track Record
"Criminal Minds" Season 10, Episode 4 titled "The Itch" will air on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 9 p.m. on CBS.
It is reported that in "The Itch," the next episode of "Criminal Minds," the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) of the FBI will be up against an unsub having a murderous track record, in addition to an "obsessive skin condition."
An official synopsis of "The Itch" released by CBS reads, "When a body is discovered in Atlanta covered in scratches, the BAU is going to find that this death and subsequent murders could be linked to an UnSub with an obsessive skin disorder."
In the previous episode of "Criminal Minds" Season 10 titled "A Thousand Suns," the opening scene showed a packed plane, with passengers protesting against the lack of Wi-Fi as well as other mishaps onboard. In the following scenes, fans saw the aircraft hurling into a free fall sending the passengers into a panic mode. A few seconds later, the plane crashes on the ground, killing nearly everyone on board apart from the co-pilot.
Soon after the news of the flight crash was reported, the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) of the FBI was summoned to probe into the crash. Afterwards, the team discovered that the pilots experienced system failure in the cockpit just minutes before the crash.
Following in-depth investigations, the team came to the conclusion that the flight was compromised from the ground through the wi-fi system of the aircraft. Subsequently, the FBI team succeeds in finding a perpetrator in a secluded property while he is on the way to system control another packed aircraft.
Having nabbed the perpetrator with a controller in his hand, the FBI agents shoot the perpetrator and the device. Fortunately enough, the pilots on-board were successful in making an emergency landing immediately when the system control broke off.
Meanwhile, Agent Callahan's emotional ties with the incident reveal the loss of her brother-in-law and sister during the 9/11 tragedy.
In the closing scene of "A Thousand Suns," viewers see Callahan, Reid (Matthey Gray Gubler), and other members of the FBI team placing flowers on the wreckage at the site of the plane crash.
