"The Glory Album," Christon Gray's worthy follow-up to his 2013 breakthrough production, was released March 11 under Kirk Franklin and RCA Record's joint venture Fo Yo Soul Recordings.

Described as a blend of R&B, hip-hop and contemporary Christian music, the 13-track album features "Connor McDees," "Open Door (See You Later)," "50 Shades" and "Blackmail (Black Male)."

Christon Gray has his imprint on every track of "The Glory Album," which already generated a lot of buzz with ESPN giving recognition to the 29-year-old when he was included in the Music Artists of the Month for March.

"All March long, fans can enjoy multiple cuts from the new project featured throughout the sports network's programming and highlight reels," a press release for the album stated.

"Earlier this month Gray also delivered an impressive opening performance at The BET Honors, thrilling the crowd that included this year's honorees: Patti LaBelle, L.A. Reid, Eric Holder, Lee Daniels and Melody Hobson," the press release said.

Christon Gray's first solo album, titled "School of Roses," was released in 2014 and landed in the top 5 of Billboard's R&B Albums Chart. It was launched as part of We Live As Kings (WLAK) on Collision Records.
