Charlie Rowe News: Actor Congratulates Tom Holland on Spider Man Casting

The recent announcement of Marvel giving one of the biggest roles in the movie industry, Spiderman, to actor Tom Holland got many stunned and excited for the upcoming new Captain America film in theaters this 2017. It is still a long way to go but Holland has already got several of his fans and colleagues congratulating him for his future work in the role.

Even Holland's pal Charlie Rowe who also apparently auditioned for the role gave well wishes to the young actor despite his previous desire in getting the role to himself. Rowe recently posted on twitter directing his message to Holland as he found out the results of their auditions.

"Well done @TomHolland1996 , glad that tom's a mate, pleased for him. I thought I could've made quite a good spiderman," Rowe wrote on his Twitter account even adding a photo of himself dressed as Spiderman back when he was still a toddler.

Indeed it seemed like Rowe really wanted the role that Holland got but at least someone from his circle of friends got the job. Just last Tuesday the management announced the new added member to the growing characters in the film series.

"It's a big day here at Sony," Sony Pictures Motion Pictures Group Chairman Tom Rothman said last Tuesday adding, "I've worked with a number of up-and-coming directors who have gone on to be superstars and believe that Jon is just such an outstanding talent. For Spidey himself, we saw many terrific young actors, but Tom's screen tests were special. All in all, we are off to a roaring start."

The film where Chris Evans stars in 'Captain America: Civil War' which Holland will play Spiderman is reportedly scheduled to hit the big screens this coming July 28, 2017. The film will reportedly be directed by Jon Watts.
