'Captain America: Civil War' Rumors, Spoilers, News: Team Members Revealed?

'Captain America: Civil War' will be the first film in the franchise that will see the superhero team split into dividing sides.

While we understand the ringleaders will be Chris Evans' Captain America vs. Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man, the opposition the rest of the Avengers take are still a mystery.

Heroic Hollywood has claimed to have intel on who sides with who in this internal battle, and states that Captain America's team comprises of:

Captain America

Falcon

Ant-Man

The Winter Soldier

Hawkeye

Scarlet Witch

While the Iron Man team contains:

Iron Man

War Machine

The Vision

Black Widow

Spider-Man

The team set-up seems to make sense when you take into account what kind of character each hero is and what they have at stake to protect. Spider-Man will be the only superhero on a team that viewers will be introduced to for the first time.

Black Panther has already been reported as neutral by the outlet, and on a vendetta of his own.

Here's the synopsis to the film:

"Captain America: Civil War" picks up where "Avengers: Age of Ultron" left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain."

'Captain America: Civil War' premieres in theaters on May 6, 2016.
