'Captain America: Civil War' Rumors, Cast News: Aunt May will be Featured in the Film?

While it is now common knowledge that fans will get to see Tom Holland's Spider-Man character for the first time in 'Captain America: Civil War,' news has just been released that we'll also get to see one more character from his slated solo film.

This character has been said to be Aunt May, who has been confirmed to be portrayed by actress Marisa Tomei. The news has came from Heroic Hollywood, who has gone on to say that she shot her scenes in secrecy for the end of production.

"Well, our sources tell us that Marisa Tomei will indeed be seen as Aunt May first in Captain America: Civil War as she secretly shot her scenes before production wrapped. Last week furniture props of Peter Parker's bedroom were revealed by a Atlanta TV station. I would bet that Aunt May was in that bedroom scene with Peter Parker," writes Heroic Hollywood.

They also draw reference to a quote from The Hollywood Report, which insinuated that Tomei would be featured in 'Civil War':

"Contrary to other reports, THR hears that Tomei's Aunt May may be making her first appearance in Marvel and Disney's Captain America: Civil War. Holland's Peter Parker is also expected to cameo in that 2016 film."

This only serves to bolster the alleged rumors, however nothing can be said for sure until the studio announces her inclusion.

Here's the film's synopsis:

"'Captain America: Civil War' picks up where 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain."
