'Captain America 3' Movie Rumors: Hugh Jackman Talks Potential Role in 'Civil War' Film?

In a new interview, 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' actor Hugh Jackman addressed the rumors that claims that he would reprise his role as Wolverine after another Marvel superhero, Spider-Man, will finally debut in the third installment of the 'Captain America' movie franchise.

"There's so many forces at play there, man, beyond what anyone would want," said Jackman to Geek in an interview.

"The thing I've always loved about the comic-book world is how the fun thing was how a writer of a comic book could just pull all these characters together and what became a Friday-night discussion of 'it would be cool to see Batman fight Wolverine' and bang, Monday morning they're working on it, you know. But that's an idealized world."

Recently, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios announced that Spider-Man will finally appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after both parties came to terms on an agreement that comic book fans have been dying to see in the near future.

"I am thrilled to team with my friends at Sony Pictures along with Amy Pascal to produce the next Spider-Man movie. Amy has been deeply involved in the realization on film of one of the world's most beloved characters," said Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige in a statement.

"Marvel's involvement will hopefully deliver the creative continuity and authenticity that fans demand from the MCU. I am equally excited for the opportunity to have Spider-Man appear in the MCU, something which both we at Marvel, and fans alike, have been looking forward to for years."

The other blockbuster news is that the famed 'friendly neighborhood' wall crawler is star in another origin film reboot, where Parker will get bitten by the radioactive spider during his high school days.

"Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios share a love for the characters in the Spider-Man universe and have a long, successful history of working together. This new level of collaboration is the perfect way to take Peter Parker's story into the future," said Columbia Pictures President Doug Belgrad in a statement.

The untitled 'Spider-Man' reboot film is slated to arrive in theaters on July 28th, 2017.

The 'Captain America 3: Civil War' film will arrive in movie theaters on May 6, 2016.
