Audrey Assad’s New Single, ‘Holy Holy Holy,’ Gets Nationwide Radio Debut

Audrey Assad

Breakthrough Christian singer Audrey Assad's new single "Holy Holy Holy," a cut from her album "Inheritance," debuts on radio nationwide.

In a press release, Audrey explained that the single has a special meaning for her because it's dedicated to Avery, "a toddler with heterotaxy, a severe heart condition."

"The word 'holy,' which we traditionally associate with God's ineffability and super-righteousness, refers also to His infinite mercy because of how He chose to deposit His holiness in the tabernacle on the seat of Mercy," she said.

The 32-year-old multiple Dove nominee added, "While I didn't know what or how to pray for Avery, I remember that the Holy Spirit prays for us. Even when we don't 'feel' like praying, the words of 'Holy, Holy, Holy' give us a beautiful prayer about a loving and merciful God."

With the nationwide release of Audrey Assad's single, "Holy Holy Holy," expect more tracks from "Inheritance" such as "Even Unto Death," "Even Unto Death," "Be Thou My Vision" and "Ubi Caritas," which is dedicated to her grandmother, to also get heavy radio play.

The album has been a critical release since it climbed up the charts in the Christian Music Trade Association during its debut week, second on the Billboard Top Christian/Gospel Albums chart and dominating the iTunes Christian/Gospel charts in North America.

Audrey Assad's new single "Holy, Holy, Holy" also topped the "Top 10 Favorite Modern Versions of Hymns," by NewReleaseToday.com.
