"Fearless," the seventh studio album by Virtue, managed to climb to No. 3 on Billboard's Top Gospel charts, thus making it the highest-charting production from the three-sister gospel band in their 20-year career.

Virtue, composed of sisters Ebony Holland, Heather Martin and Karima Kibble debuted on the third spot this week, according to a press release.

The press release also quotes Mixed Bag Entertainment exec Gerald Jones as saying that the label is very excited about the response to Virtue's newest album, "Fearless."

"We're looking forward to great things for the rest of the year and this is just the beginning," he said. "I'm very proud of the girls and all of their hard work and I truly believe this is their best album to date."

Fan and critic reception to Virtue's latest studio release was positive across the board as "Fearless" reached No. 12 on Billboard's Top Christian & Gospel Albums chart, No. 21 on the Christian & Gospel Current Digital Albums chart and No. 25 on the Top Independent Albums chart.

However, it failed to crack the top 100 in Billboard's Overall Top Albums chart.

Bob Marovich of Journal of Gospel Music wrote that the album featured a more mature Ebony, Heather and Karima.

"The album's finest moments are the slower, more deliberate ones, where the ladies harmonize and deliver lyrics that leap out of the speakers," he said.

"The 'Fearless' moniker fits well with the ladies' unapologetic, invulnerable delivery, signifying their individual and collective maturity in music and experience," he added.
