A national tour headlining the three influential Christian artists, Essential Records' Bebo Norman, Curb Records' Fernando Ortega, and INO Records' Sara Groves, is set to launch April 21 in Chattanooga, TN and throughout 25+ major cities in the nation including Nashville, Colorado Springs, Washington, Baltimore, and more. Excited about this upcoming tour, each artist shares about their anticipation in working together to serve God and the community.
Bebo Norman, who is now passionately working together with Compassion, looks forward to the April tour. "I'm excited to be out on the road with two artists that I respect as much as Fernando and Sara. They write songs that speak to my soul, and I'm looking forward to the chance to hear those songs every night."
Norman, whose music, lyrics, and presence, opens the path for people to experience the power of the Holy Spirit, has been committed to serving God through music since he was an independent artist three years before he signed to Essential records in 1999. The No. 1 radio hit, "Disappear" from the fall 2004 release,
Try, has earned Norman high marks and through his intimate and genuine musical style, Norman is gaining exponentially greater popularity.
Fernando Ortega, one of the industry's most profound and gifted singers/songwriters, said, "I am thrilled about this tour with Sara and Bebo. It's been a long time in the planning. I think the music works together really well, and the band is filled with stellar musicians."
Ortega has been known to stir large audiences with his captivating performances that musically speak to the Spirit. With 12 Dove Award nominations, two Dove Awards, eight No. 1 radio hits, and consecutive No. 1 "Inspirational Song of the Year" CRR singles in 1999 and 2000, Ortega remained as the humble servant of God. He has served at Billy Graham Crusades, Praise Gathering and Promise Keepers conferences and Ann Graham Lotz' conferences.
His most recent self-titled project has once again met the expectations of fans and critics with music that leaves an indelible impression in the heart.
Sara Groves praises her upcoming tour mates, "Fernando and Bebo are amazing songwriters and storytellers, and it will be an honor to share the stage with them. If you want a reprieve from life, I can imagine this concert will be just that, having seen Fernando and Bebo do what they are so good at, inspiring us."
Groves has gained favor in the Christian music industry and has been featured in CCM, Christianity Today online, was nominated for Gospel Music Association's 2002 new artist of the Year and more since her 2001 debut release, Conversations. Her most recent release is the 2004 album,
The Other Side of Something.
