Hearken Studios hosts an annual showcase called The Connection. This event gives Christian artists the opportunity to showcase for Christian record labels, agents, managers, promoters, producers and organizations looking to hire Christian talent. It also unites artists from around the nation with the common goal to further the Kingdom of Christ through the power of music.

The Connection will be held in Nashville, TN on May 30th - June 1st, 2005 at the Opryland Hotel. Anyone may purchase a ticket to attend the artist training workshops conducted by the industry's top pastors, coaches, authors, speakers and artists who have a heart for the ministry. Classes in ministry, music business, law, marketing, production, artist tips and performance coaching are some of the topics covered at the event. Prior to attending, artists receive training and preparatory materials such as Patrick Garrett's book, "A Beginners Guide to Christian Music" and artist training tapes by Tom Jackson.

To showcase, artists must be interviewed about their goals for their music ministry and audition by submitting performance samples to the Hearken music department. It must be in the best interest for the future of the artist to be accepted to perform at the showcase.

The staff at Hearken Studios helps develop Christian Artists and Musicians to be prepared to present their talent professionally to the industry and develop their music ministry. Assisting with the development of artist press packets and providing each entrant with a web page featuring music clips, biography, contact information and photo. The web page is marketed to industry scouts looking for new talent prior to the event, as well as marketed for booking purposes.
The showcase at The Connection is aired on the internet and open to the public.
