Joy Williams plans to release her third album titled "Genesis" on May 3rd, 2005 with a new radio single scheduled for March. A recording artist since the age of 17, Joy Williams, now 22, reveals deeper spiritual maturity through the various experiences, new and old, presented in her music.
Joy Williams shares, "This album really highlights the up and down seasons of life. The journey of self-discovery, new beginnings, falling in love; my fingerprints are all over it." Having co-written most of the album, herself, she continues, "I really feel like I'm making my first album."
Producer Matt Bronleewe of Reunion Records testifies, "This album displays a truly gifted artist rising above the noise of a cluttered musical scene. With Genesis, Joy has found herself, and in doing so she has discovered a voice for the next generation. I can't wait for people to hear this record!"
"This is a really exciting direction for Joy," said Jason McArthur, A&R director Provident Label Group. "Not only did she co-write every song, but working with Matt Bronleewe really opened up new creative avenues for her. The result is an incredibly unique album with a very fresh, pop sound."
Now Williams is leading a new life with the many changes including her recent marriage to Nate Yetton in the year 2004. During the time off for several months, Williams had co-written the album under the fairly new management Blanton Harrell Cooke & Corzine. From "Joy Williams" (2001) to "By Surprise" (2002) to "Genesis" (2005), Williams never fails to inspire and bring the joy and comfort of the Lord upon the listeners.
