Jeremy Camp their favorite artist and
Family Force 5 their favorite band in the 2009 Readers' Choice Awards, announced today by Christian music's premier fan-site.
Past winner and consistent fan favorite
Camp was named Best Songwriter in addition to the Best Artist honor.
Family Force 5 came out a big winner once again this year, taking home Best Band, Best Album for
Dance or Die (Tooth & Nail) and Most Underrated Artist.
TobyMac repeated as Best Male Artist, while
Natalie Grant won Best Female Artist for the first time. Keeping their string alive,
Chris Tomlin was named Best Worship Artist for the fifth consecutive year and
KJ-52 Best Hip-Hop Artist for the fourth year. In addition, newcomers
Tenth Avenue North, Francesca Battistelli and
Brandon Heath scored top votes for the first time in this year's awards.
Group 1 Crew, Flyleaf, Kirk Franklin and
Lifehouse were also favorites of the fans.
The CCMmagazine.com 2009 Readers' Choice Award results are featured now on the Web site.
