2nd Generation is proud to announce the release of the group’s much anticipated sophomore release –
I See a City.
Brenda Denney of 2nd Generation said, “This is such an exciting chapter in our ministry. Recording our first album was a real blast, but this one was another overwhelming experience that we will remember forever! We can’t wait for everyone to hear the new album!”
I See a City was produced by award-winning songwriter Gerald Crabb for Premier Crabb Productions. The up-and-coming trio recorded vocals at the end of February in Hendersonville, Tennessee at Daywind Studio A.
The new recording features some of Nashville’s most prized studio musicians such as Jeremy Medkiff, Gary Prim, Dan Needham, Adam Crabb, and more.
I See a City was engineered by Justin Kropf and was mixed by Trey Corley. The new album features a mix of new material and older songs that have played a major influence in the group.
2nd Generation’s Elaine Parks said, “These songs all have such a special message to us. We can’t wait to start singing them!”
I See a City is the follow-up to the group’s break-out album,
Who Wants to Praise the Lord? That album spawned off the hit singles “Hanging On a Nail”, “When He Chose Me”, and the group’s first Top 80 hit “Trouble Me No More.”
I See a City is available to purchase at concerts and other events and will be available online at the group’s webpage soon.
The group’s debut single from the album, the title cut “I See a City”, will be released through Daywind Records’ compilation service this summer.
